The DAY 5 of GOBESHONA 3 CONFERENCE 2017 is named “INSPIRING RESILIENCE”
The event will explore how communications can be used to help communities adapt to and prepare for natural hazards. Drawing on insights from Bangladesh, Tanzania, Indonesia and elsewhere, this event will explore new evidence for how media and communication can help drive communities to take action that increases their resilience. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how evidence-based communications can be used to support communities to cope better with naturally occurring hazards; and will help identify evidence gaps in the field that need to be filled in future.
