The International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB), and Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP2100) jointly organized the “Vision 2100 Essay Competition in Times of Climate Change”. It aimed to find out young people’s vision of Bangladesh regarding the next 100 years. To understand this vision, participants were asked to share creative ideas on “What Bangladesh will be like in the year 2100”. This concept also incorporated the climate change issue in Bangladesh since much of the future impacts of climate changes are still unpredictable.
The top 3 essay writers will be awarded as part of the closing ceremony of the Vision 2100 Essay Competition.
