The next instalment of the ICCCAD Seminar Series will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, October 30.
Tasfiq Mahmood will be presenting in a seminar titled: ‘Experience sharing on APYF 2014 by applying Pecha-Kucha style’
About the speaker:
Syed Tasfiq Mahmood is a young development practitioner working as a research officer in International Centre for Climate Change and development. Tasfiq has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and a Master’s Degree in Natural Resource management. Previously, he has worked with Winrock International as a Consultant and did an Internship with Arannayk Foundation. Besides his professional career, he has an expertise in digital photography. He is involved in a number of photography projects, both personal and professional.
About the seminar:
Tasfiq had been a participant at the Asia Pacific Youth Forum 2014 Training and Workshop: Adaptation in the Mountains: Issues and Gaps beyond boundaries, held in Nepal during late September. He will be sharing his personal experience of APYF2014 by applying a Japanese style of presentation called “Pecha-Kucha”. In line with the style, the presentation is expected to not be longer than 7 minutes.
