Patrick Kirkby will be presenting in a seminar titled “Effective adaptation strategies in reducing climate change related disaster risks in the coastal region in Bangladesh”
About the speaker
Patrick Kirkby is a PhD Candidate from the University of Tasmania and a Visiting Researcher at ICCCAD
About the seminar
Patrick’s study is based on an ethnographic collaboration with a Rakhaine Buddhist minority group in Patuakhali. In this seminar Patrick will explore the nexus between culture and CBA, reflect on his doctoral work program and his findings thus far, and introduce his approach to developing a framework for a ‘culturally-engaged’ CBA praxis through the international CBA conference series.
