Program Coordinator(Training)

asif-icccad-prtAsiful Hoque is currently working as the Program Coordinator(Training) at ICCCAD. His primary role at ICCCAD is to liaise with external partners for formulating training courses according to their requirements. He also assists in the implementation of various programmatic activities of ICCCAD. Asif is an engineer by training. He has received his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Presidency University, Dhaka. Before joining ICCCAD, he worked with the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Research (3CSR) at DUET where he was involved in several projects on climate change research, capacity building in higher education and industrial waste management. During his work at 3CSR, he coordinated several research activities conducted by the students during their undergraduate and postgraduate theses along with their supervisors. He was also involved in environmental assessments for several development projects. Areas of his research interest include climate change adaptation, adaptation technology and capacity building. Asif is a bird lover and keeps exotic birds. He also loves travelling.
